Samsung introduces new Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Buds FE

Samsung introduced its first Galaxy Fan Edition device three years ago, with the Galaxy S20 FE, and while it lacked some of the features of its premium siblings, it also came at a more affordable price.
With its latest Galaxy FE devices, Samsung has now expanded this category across mobile, tablet and earbud devices, at a lower price tier that Samsung calls “premium value”, and the devices have been created for consumers who are stepping up from lower tiered devices such as the Galaxy A24, but don’t want or need a premium Galaxy S23 device.
With the new Galaxy FE devices, consumers will be able to acquire a Galaxy device with many of the advantages that the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem provides, from improved performance, cutting-edge camera and audio capabilities - all at a more accessible price.
Galaxy S23 FE
The Galaxy S23 FE stays true to the iconic S series design with its new floating camera and premium finish with IP68 water and dust resistance. Plus, it features recycled materials and packaging. Offered in new, vibrant colors, Galaxy S23 FE allows users to select the device color that best fits their style.
Pro-grade camera features help users to capture amazing photos and videos, with a 50MP main camera module with high-resolution lens, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Nightography on Galaxy S23 FE lets you take clear selfies and portraits in lifelike colors. With advanced digital image stabilization (VDIS), take steady shots on the go using the rear camera with optical image stabilizer (OIS) angle.
When it comes to creating perfectly sharable content, Galaxy S23 FE is an editing studio on the go. In Pro Mode, controls for shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and more can be manually adjusted to your preferences and you can capture customized shots with the Camera Assistant app and choose which automated features to use for a fully customized, AI-powered editing tool.
The Galaxy S23 FE is powered by an Exynos 2200 mobile processor with a vapor chamber that helps to control heat and sustain performance for graphic intensive apps. The long-lasting 4,500mAh battery intuitively adjusts to conserve energy, charging up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes with a 25W Adapter. All this power comes to life on a bright, 6.4-inch 4 Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Vision Booster technology.
Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9 FE+ tablets were created to deliver essential entertainment, expressive creativity, and seamless productivity.
For displays, both the Galaxy Tab S9 FE’s 10.9-inch display, and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+’s 12.4-inch display feature automatic refresh, up to 90Hz, and Vision Booster, while an IP68 rating lets them take the bumps and spills of daily life with zero hassles. Plus, for Tiktok fans, battery life has been improved, so you get up to 18 hours of video playback on the Tab S9 FE, and 20 hours from the Tab S9 FE+.
For fast note taking, a Samsung S Pen comes with each tablet, and five you access to a host of productivity and creative apps, such as Goodnotes, LumaFusion10 and Clip Studio Paint.
Galaxy Buds FE
The Galaxy Buds FE brings Samsung’s industry-leading sound experience to more users, with powerful bass offers deep and rich sound that allows you to enjoy your music the way like it. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Ambient Sound enable you to hear more of what you love and less of what you don’t, while automatic personalized beamforming of the advanced three microphone system, along with AI-powered Deep Neutral Network (DNN), separates your voice from unwanted background noise for clearer calls.
Boasting the longest battery life in the Buds series, Galaxy Buds FE provide up to 8.5 hours of playback with earbud, and total up to 30 hours including the charging case . While using ANC, users can get up to 6 hours of playback with earbuds, and total up to 21 hours including the case.
The Galaxy Buds FE are engineered to be comfortable enough to wear for a long time, and enable a more customized fit with three different sizes of ear tips and two different sizes for wingtips.
Galaxy Ecosystem
With new FE devices, it’s easier than ever to experience the full power of the connected Galaxy ecosystem. Productivity is intuitive with Multi Control , which enables users to drag and drop content easily between multiple Galaxy devices. Copy and paste or drag and drop between smartphone and tablet. When creativity strikes, simply transfer videos or images from smartphone to tablet with Quick Share, for easier editing.
When it is time for immersive entertainment, Galaxy Buds FE are the perfect companions. Auto Switch intelligently switches sound between your smartphone, tablet, and even watch and TV – based on your usage with no manual
adjustments required16 . Also, SmartThings Find helps you track down misplaced Buds and also sound an alarm should they be left behind.
Pricing & Availability
The Galaxy S23 FE is priced from SGD 888 and will be available from 10 October 2023 in Mint, Cream, Graphite and Purple, Indigo and Tangerine are exclusive to the Samsung Online Store.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablets will be available on 20 October 2023, with prices from SGD669. The Tab S9 FE comes in Mint or Grey, while the Tab S9 FE+ is available in Silver.
The Galaxy Buds FE will be available for SGD 158 from 20 October 2023, in two colors - Graphite and White.
