Singapore, July 10, 2025 – Samsung kicked off its Unpacked 2025 event with a strong lineup of new devices. The main spotlight was on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, their most powerful foldable yet. Alongside it, Samsung also introduced the sleeker Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the redesigned Galaxy Watch 8. Here’s your quick catch-up on everything announced.

Let’s dive into the Galaxy Z Fold 7 first. Samsung is calling this their biggest and lightest Fold yet. It weighs only 215 grams and measures 8.9 millimeters in thickness, even lighter than the S25 Ultra. When folded, it features a 6.5-inch display that makes it practical for everyday use. Durability has been improved with new materials and structural enhancements. On the camera side, Samsung went all out with a 200 megapixel main sensor that delivers photos four times sharper and 44 percent brighter than the previous generation. It also supports 10 bit HDR video recording for more vibrant colors and higher contrast.

Next is the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which got a major design update. The cover screen now stretches fully across the front with slimmer bezels for a cleaner look. Samsung emphasized its slim profile at just 13.7 millimeters when folded, making it their thinnest Flip phone ever. The battery has been upgraded to 4300 milliamp hours, offering all-day usage. This device also brings smarter AI features and Gemini Live for a more seamless and intuitive experience. The camera includes a 50 megapixel main sensor and a 12 megapixel ultra-wide lens. For a more affordable option, Samsung also introduced the Flip 7 FE with slightly reduced features.

Finally, the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic bring a more refined and minimal look. These watches are now 11 percent thinner and feature displays that are 50 percent brighter, reaching up to 3000 nits. A key feature is the new Running Coach, which offers real-time guidance for your running goals while also monitoring heart rate, stress levels, and blood pressure.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Watch 8 are available for pre-order starting today. (July 9th) Customers can experience the Fold and Flip on July 29, while the Watch 8 will be available from August 1. With polished hardware, smarter software, and a stronger wearable ecosystem, Samsung’s latest lineup offers something exciting for every kind of user.
